One year ago today, on April 10th, 2015, we lost Cpl. Scott R. Thompson. At the request of his family, a ceremony with his brother officers was held this morning to dedicate our department gym as the Cpl. Scott R. Thompson #352 Memorial Fitness Center. Cpl. Thompson always enjoyed his time in this gym, often arriving hours before his shift in the early morning to work out.
At the dedication, Chief Lisa Parker spoke about the closeness of the Manchester Township Police Department family, and how we will always consider Cpl. Thompson’s wife Tracy and daughters Kelsey and Sydney members of our family.
Scott loved his family, and he loved his brother officers. We miss him, and think about him each day. We know that he continues to watch over us.
